Job description
An opportunity has arisen for an enthusiastic and motivated CCAB / CIMA part or newly qualified accountant to join our finance team and work alongside the Surgery, Women's and Children's Division at Great Western Hospital NHS FT in Swindon.
This is an exciting time for GWH who will soon be the first Trust in our region to offer Robotic surgery to our patients and this role will support the development of this new service.
To succeed you will be a self-motivated, pro-active individual with good communication skills and the ability to engage finance and non-finance colleagues alike.
You will support the Finance Business Partner in providing a comprehensive finance partnering role to the division, including budget setting, development of efficiency programmes, as well as providing financial advice and challenge to enhance patient care within the available resources.
The role also involves managing the divisional management accountant and as a senior member of the Finance Team you will be involved in the improvement and development of the whole department.
Previous NHS experience is useful but not essential and this is an excellent opportunity for a motivated finance professional looking to take the next step in their career.
