Job description
This is your chance to make a career move like no other, working with a diverse group of passionate people, to deliver a positive impact for the greatest city in the world.
We are absolutely committed to better reflecting the communities we serve in east London, and we are looking for someone passionate about this too. We’re keen to hear how your work and lived experience make you suitable for this role, and we’d especially welcome applications from people based in our local communities, and those from traditionally underrepresented groups. Above all, we want to understand how you will give us a better representation of the perspectives of those we are here to serve, and how you can help us to continuously support and develop our inclusive culture to make LLDC the employer of choice
The Opportunity
We are looking for an enthusiastic Assistant Film and Events Manager to join us for four months, to facilitate filming and event requests across the park in the Summer of 2023.
The role will not only include liaising closely with Film Location Managers working in the park; processing all relevant H&S, Legal and financial documentation, but will also be working with external clients to help facilitate events during the summer months.
LLDC will require the successful candidate to coordinate meetings, schedules, and providing general administrative support so that the Park can deliver effectively and efficiently throughout its busiest period.
Ideally, the candidate will have experience in working in outdoor environments and be looking to develop skills further.
Filming and Events take place all year round, with a certain amount of working taking place at weekends or in evenings so you may be required to work evenings/weekends to fulfil project needs.
Is it for you?
You will have a positive, proactive attitude and experience working in an environment which concentrates on live external activity with both filming and events.
You should have good time management and processing skills, as we are a busy team, and have multiple filming, events, and projects running simultaneously at various stages.
We lead in promoting a diverse and inclusive range of filming and events. In this role, we are looking for a talented individual with relevant lived experience of working with diverse communities like those we serve in east London and who is looking to develop skills further.
