Assistant Field Based Technician - Water
Thames Valley Area
£11 per hour
Do you like to have fun while you work and experience a variety of environments?
We have an exciting opportunity within our Flowmetering Business Unit, for an Assistant Technician. Full training will be given in the role so do not worry about having previous experience in the water industry. We are after a ‘go-getter’ approach to your work and aren't afraid to get your hands dirty.
What's involved?
Reporting to the Delivery Manager, your standard day will involve assisting the technicians in their day-to-day projects. You will assist with fault finding, rectifying faults, testing, installation works, obtaining a safe working environment when working on excavations, chambers or meter replacements.
To be successful you’ll need:
UK driving license
Willingness to occasionally work away for a week or two (annually)
Ability to work well in a team
