Job description
Gilston Crop Management is a Joint Venture Arrangement farming over 4,000 acres of arable land.
The Partners are looking for an Assistant Farm Manager to work closely with the Farm Manager and farming team to continue to develop the business whilst delivering an excellent service.
The Role
- Fertiliser applications and cultivations/harvesting
- Back up spray operator
- Leading cultivations/drilling/harvesting team
- Data collection, work planning and liaising with the agronomists and Farm Manager
- Use of GPS and precision farming systems
- Ensuring continued attention to detail/timeliness
- Exploring new ideas and developing the farming business
- PA1 and PA2 qualifications required
- Ongoing training given including BASIS and FACTS.
Good remuneration including house (if required) is offered as part of the package.
