An outstanding opportunity has arisen to join the Events Marketing team at M&S food to develop and deliver seasonal events and land major cross category campaigns that deliver strong commercial results. You will be responsible for ensuring the campaigns are outstanding, relevant to customers and insight, land with impact and right first time, while reflecting the overall strategy and business priorities.
Key accountabilities and measures
- Work with Events Marketing Managers to develop event propositions which will land with impression for customers in store and across all channels and deliver commercial results
- Ensure channel owners are briefed in plenty of time on event proposition, creative, advocate products and proof points
- Ensure all in store communication is creatively distinctive, aligned with our plans, clear for customers, and simple for colleagues
- Work closely with the Store Experience team to provide all Points of sale (POS) is briefed on time, signed off at the correct level, and is accurate first time for stores
- Be well coordinated with creative channels (ATL, CRM, PR etc) to assure that all of our marketing drives trade on the right products at the accurate time, acting as the link into the business
- Work with the Category Marketing, Trade Planning, Own Brand and Product Development Teams to make sure that we have forward visibility of hero lines, and that these are supported with marketing campaigns
You will handle the budget for each event, ensuring we come in on a timely manner and budget. Work in conjunction with Clothing and Home marketing team to make certain our key events are joined up. Develop plans to engage in-store colleagues, driving excitement around key seasonal campaigns. Support the commercial rhythm, acting with pace to respond to market conditions. Lead cross channel and category teams to ensure we deliver a joined up proposition and everyone is up to date on the latest products and campaign detail. Support campaign reviews to ensure findings are collected and set clear recommendations for future activity. Work collaboratively with teams to deliver a one of a kind campaign
You will have a high collaborative mind set that also draws on your intoxicating creativity and campaign and project management skills. You are a tenacious, driven project manager who is able to influence key stakeholders to deliver on time and meet the brief.
