Job Description:

A new and exciting opportunity has become available for a Road and Sewer Design Engineer to join a team to produce and complete in house road and sewer designs on CAD.

Liaising with local authority planning and building control (NHBC) to discharge development conditions.

Co-ordinating and overseeing all pre-construction engineering activities on sites including remediation, earthworks and road and sewers.

Person Specification:

Previous experience in securing technical approval for roads and sewer design and acquiring S 38, 278 and 104 for residential projects is essential.

The ideal candidate will be able to support the commercial department in completion of outstanding road and sewer adoptions. As well as coordinate remediation statements and validation works.

The ability to support all departments on engineering issues as well as coordinate any supporting engineering designs is desirable.

Ability to liaise with statutory undertakers and obtain service proposals including phased payments as well as produce engineering appraisal reports is desirable.
