Assistant Education Mental Health Practitioner (EMHP)
The Link is a Middlesbrough based professional mental health and emotional wellbeing provider. We provide therapeutic services to children, young people and families across the North East including Redcar & Cleveland, Middlesbrough, Hartlepool, Stockton on Tees and Darlington. Our services include a wide range of workshops and training, therapeutic assessments, one to one therapeutic interventions including specialist therapies and Children and Young People Improving Access to Psychological Therapies (CYP IAPT) evidence-based therapies.
We are currently recruiting 1 x Full time Assistant Education Mental Health Practitioner (EMHP) to work into the InsideOut Mental Health Support Team
The Link, along with other Voluntary and community sector providers have formed a partnership to create the South Tees Mental Health Support Team, also known as the InsideOut Team. The partnership members include;

- The Junction Foundation
- A Time 4 you
- ABC Counselling
- Changing Futures North East
The InsideOut Team provides early intervention and prevention in education settings across Middlesbrough and Redcar & Cleveland and provides support to children, young people and families within these settings.
The Assistant EMHP, is a new role that has been developed to support the Practitioners within the InsideOut Team, with a view of progressing into the Trainee EMHP role; this is dependent on the organisation securing a place on the full-time educational programme specifically for the EMHP role (see further information about the training detailed on our website), and the Assistant EMHP successfully meeting Northumbria University’s entry requirements.

Job Types: Full-time, Fixed term contract

Salary: From £23,887.50 per year
