This role gives a fantastic opportunity to join our small but high-profile HR team and lead the strategic and operational support for people matters across the College. You will act as a strategic partner and trusted advisor to senior management to ensure the College is provided with robust employment advice enabling an engaged and productive workforce. You will translate strategy into operational reality and lead the team by demonstrating delivery in practice.
As an HR expert, you will ensure the HR service provided to colleagues across the College is effective and efficient, and meets both regulatory requirements and internal policies. You will build strong working relationships with colleagues, senior management, Trustees and union, ensuring people matters are appropriately considered and managed.
To be successful in this role you will have:
- Successfully led an HR function in a medium or large organisation
- Driven employee engagement and improvements in organisational culture
- Implemented and used systems to drive process efficiencies
- Used data to enable evidenced based decision through robust business insight
- Implemented effective EDI strategies
- Implemented learning and development strategies which deliver measurable outcomes
