You will support a small team of curators in planning, developing, editing and installing exhibition interpretation. You will also help develop gallery texts and resources for collection displays across Tate Britain and Modern.
The Interpretation team are responsible for making sure the content we share in exhibition and displays is accessible, engaging and inclusive. This involves, proof-reading, sense-checking and editing content. You will also assist with graphics installation and join and contribute to planning meetings.
You will work across several projects at different stages of development and delivery. A love of collaboration is essential, as this role involves working with many different stakeholders. You will work closely with curators in the Interpretation team as well as colleagues in Exhibitions and Displays, Design, Learning and Audiences.
The role requires excellent communication and organisation skills, and a high standard of written English. We’re looking for someone who is passionate about ensuring the stories we tell about art are relevant, accessible and inclusive.

Part time candidates who can only work 4 days a week will be considered. The hours would be reduced to 28.8 per week, and salary would be pro-rated to £22,451 per annum.
