About the role and our team
Join our team at Southlands as an Assistant Cook!
Within this role, you’ll work together with our friendly and supportive team to provide over 300 meals per day to residents. Day to day, your duties will include:
- Ensuring the safety of food from purchasing, delivery, storage, preparation to final cooking and serving
- Managing, planning/adapting menus
This is a great opportunity to contribute to the wellbeing of older people by helping to provide good quality nutritious food. We’re looking for individuals with basic food hygiene skills and experience working in a commercial kitchen.
