Job summary
Government of Jersey is seeking an Assistant Communications Officer to support the Head of Communications in the delivery of a large Government department’s external and internal communications activity, supporting employees to understand and engage with that department, and promoting a clear understanding of how the department is working for Jersey.
The ideal candidate will be able to write effective copy, produce publications, manage events, and deliver a range of communications activities for both external and internal audiences.
The candidate will ideally have two years’ experience of working in the communications profession and/or four years’ experience of studying marketing, journalism, or communications.
