We are currently searching for a dedicated and passionate Assistant Communications Manager to come and join our friendly, welcoming team here at NIHR Evaluation, Trials and Studies Coordinating Centre (NETSCC)!
Who is NETSCC?
NETSCC is an National Institute for Health and Care Research (NIHR) coordinating centre, hosted within the School of Healthcare, Enterprise and Innovation. The NIHR helps to fund, enable and deliver world-leading health and social care research that improves people's health and wellbeing and promotes economic growth. Our research helps turn discoveries into new or improved treatments, diagnostics, medical technologies and services. It provides those working in the NHS, public health, global health and social care with the evidence they need to better support patients, the public and people who need care.
What will you be doing?
This is a great role where you will get lots of experience in delivering a variety of communications activities. Some of the daily tasks you will undertake include:
- Producing communications copy for our websites and newsletters
- Developing and producing social media content
- Collaborative working with other NETSCC and NIHR teams
Who are we looking for?
This is a versatile role which requires somebody who is flexible in their approach with a willingness to learn. As well as having some prior experience in a communications/PR role the key skills to be successful in this role are:
- Ability to plan and organise your own workload
- Good attention to detail- delivering quality and accurate work
- Good interpersonal skills to build effective working relationships
- Great team player
