We are seeking an enthusiastic psychology graduate with experience of working with children and young people with Autism to join our team in North Derbyshire. The post holder must: Be a Psychology Graduate, 2:1 or above. Have at least 6 months experience, full-time or equivalent, of working with people with autism. Have proven excellent communication skills Have excellent IT skills The post holder will be based at The Den, Chesterfield Royal Hospital.
To assist qualified CAMHS staff in responding to children, young people in need of mental health support.
To assist with the provision of psychological interventions for young people in CAMHS.
To provide a key role, under supervision, in the monitoring, implementing, collecting and analysis of outcome measures within CAMHS.
To contribute to relevant evaluation, audit and project work, including carrying out relevant literature reviews, preparing databases and writing reports.
The post holder will have their work managed and supervised by a Clinical Psychologist.
CAMHS consists of a number of professionals from a variety of backgrounds, all skilled in working with children and young people with mental health issues. Their are a number of different teams within the service and this post will work with the teams involved in urgent care provision.
