The Asset Management Analyst is responsible for implementing and leading importantly consistent cross-regional IT Int'l asset management processes and tools.
As empowered by the IT Int'l Operations Management Team, the AMA coordinates and advises IT Int'l colleagues in order to:
- Act as a liaison and provide reach back support to/from international regions and to enterprise and regional functions (e.g. IT Finance, BU Finance, local entity finance, BIES, etc.) to ensure appropriate process coordination and to provide vital trainings to the asset management community.
- Develop and maintain cross-regional IT asset management support tools and processes and ensure compliance to Boeing policy and standards as well as local law and regulations.
- Review processes, tools and procedures periodically. Conduct or participate in process design reviews and build recommendations in response to requests for process changes.
- Ensure all processes in area of responsibility, tools and procedures are detailed and documentation is available/accessible and up to date
- Work multi-functionally with functional leads, domain experts and partners (e.g. IT Finance, Business Unit Finance, ITI and BIES) to ensure effective execution of asset management processes and use of tools by the regional operations teams.
- Coordinate multi-functional (beyond IT Int'l Operations) asset management activities as the need arises.
- Provide consulting support and conduct process and tool related trainings as necessary. Establish and communicate asset management training requirements to the IT International Operations management team.
- Lead all asset management related cross-regional functional forums and meetings.
- Design standard IT asset management reports and related training to enable the Regional Operations teams to efficiently maintain assets under control.
- Research, acquire, consolidate and analyse data vitally to build ad hoc IT Asset Management reports (e.g. input for budget planning, LRBP, etc), and maintain Dashboard (Hardware and Software).
- Maintain Enterprise IT asset database, and keep it up-to-date.
- Plan, and complete the PC refresh.
- Work with IPSI (International Process and System Integration) to provide GSEP process requirement to develop workflow. Ensure to acquire feedback and input from partners on the process.
- Collaborate with HAM, SAM, network team to achieve Boeing Enterprise Asset Management goal, and implement the strategy.
- Support subsidiaries to migrate asset data, and deliver training.
- Support regional teams and finance on audit activities.
The AMA reports to Global Service Delivery Manager (GSDM). In order to provide functional asset management leadership to IT International Operations staff and asset management support to the IT International Operations management team, the AMA interacts with, Global IT Fulfilment team, Technicians, enterprise partners and suppliers (e.g. Finance organizations, IT Infrastructure, Supplier Management, GENPACT and BIES).
Occasional business travel may be expected to other global sites, as driven by business needs.
Significant flexibility is encouraged as off-hours activity will be needed to coordinate with a geographically dispersed team.
