Asset Data Capture Support
Permanent, Full Time
Hybrid working with a London base
£28,158 - £33,128 per annum, depending on experience
About The Role
We have a new and exciting opportunity to join our Asset Data team as a Asset Data Capture Support.
As Asset Data Capture Support, you'll be travelling within your region to ensure visual on-site visits are carried out on existing and new gas mains/assets currently worked on throughout the various workstreams. You will work closely with Operational Staff, producing electronic drawings/span sheets of the site visit. Additionally, you will support with the site visits carried out for existing and new gas mains/assets while pipes are exposed, ensuring Operational Staff are notified of any DR4 Requirements, Shallow Mains Deviations, Stub Ends, Valve/ Governor Cards or Deviations from Design, including any H Code findings via Ctrl HUB forms.
In this role, you will also be responsible for ensuring that the records for completed works are accurately captured to the required standard and returned to the Asset Data Team within prescribed timelines, identifying and escalating any discrepancies, where appropriate.
This role will also require you to attend and constructively participate in regular team briefs, and where necessary, attend internal/external training, supporting with covering times of absence/annual leave, which may sometimes require flexibility around weekend working.
Key Accountabilities
- Comply with the implementation of Process/Procedure Updates in line with Business Development and with Policy/Local Work Procedure developments
- Comply with all HS&E procedures - use the appropriate work equipment and personal protective equipment and participate proactively in achieving HS&E objectives including Process Safety & Lone Working Activities
- Review and apply analysis of Performance and Quality MI Systems Feedback e.g. Allocated Reports, Whereabouts, DCT Performance Statistics
- Ensure all information within project packs for each street is complete and accurate and is submitted using relevant Cadent systems and where appropriate complete site photos & logs to support DR4s, shallow mains, stub lengths against REP2
- Liaise directly with Site Managers and Cadent operational staff to ensure accurate data is captured and recording any details for Digitisable Services/Connections, inclusive of CSEP activities and Mains Test Certificates are appropriately referenced
- Where required, support with Service Compliance Activities (domestic / non-domestic), Plant Protection, DR/8 Compliance, CSEP Mapping Assistance
- Liaise with Site Manager to advise where there is need for Records of Asset Errors (DR4/RbP and supporting information), valve cards and/or governor cards, syphons and other appropriate plant items to be recorded, DCT Calendars, Whereabouts Activities and Allocated Reports (ensuring they are included on drawings)
- Ensure the abandonment dates for each section of pipe on all project streets are correctly recorded, routine Operations (RO's) / Non-Routine Operation (NRO's) are appropriately referenced for all assets laid and assets abandoned, ensure Live Insertion Works are captured accurately with co-ordination with Operations. If a Live Head is left in situ, this should be recorded using the Viewing Dome Location and Pipe Protection & Cathodic Protection are referenced appropriately.
About You
The successful candidate will have the following:
- EUSR SHEA Gas Passport
- Full UK Driving Licence
- Experience with Data Collector and GPS Software(s)
- Experience in liaising with stakeholders to achieve the performance and quality targets/expectations
- Expertise in maintaining and managing Site Visit Logistics (Appropriate for Data Capture)
