Ramsey Timber Group is the major supplier of timber products to the UK bedding industry. A family run company, we have been in business for 120 years. Our components can be found in the construction of beds in virtually any British furniture showroom - testimony to our excellent reputation in the UK market.
We are looking for experienced assemblers to work in our busy production / assembly unit at Whitehead Business Park, Holland Street, Bradford.
Salary: £12.00 - £13.05 per hour (overtime paid at time plus ½)
Shift: Monday to Friday 7am – 3pm.
Job Requirements:
This role involves assembling headboards and bed frames using staple / nail guns; stacking and palletising wood; collating orders and general housekeeping. Due to the nature of work this role involves repetitive movement; manual handling; lifting and moving of frames and pallets.
The successful candidates must have a minimum of 2 years working in similar environment; be experienced in working with hand tools, particularly staple / nail guns; good communication skills; ability to work to daily targets; good attendance and timekeeping; excellent health and safety awareness; good attention to detail. Flexibility and willingness to work overtime (including some weekends) and work in other areas of the business as / when required.
