We have an exciting opportunity for Assembly Operators to come and join our team here in Birmingham.

Qualifications and Experience Levels:

· GCSEs level D-G, Key Skills Level 1, NVQ Level, International Vocational Certificate (IVQ)

· Experience in a manufacturing environment is essential

· Previous industry experience is desirable

· Experience of working with assemblies is desirable

· Experience of working to production targets is desirable

About the Role:

Working to strict safety and quality requirements, help to achieve daily production requirements in terms of quality and quantity to meet customer expectations and requirements, optimising efficiency and maintaining operational excellence. Perform many operations within the process with some supervision.

After continued increase in demand, our Operations Team is expanding and on the lookout for more Assembly Operators to join our team. You will be primarily working in our Assembly Team and reporting to the Assembly Lead.

This role would suit an experienced individual that is familiar with production environments, enjoys a challenge and who thrives working in a busy and proactive organisation. So, if the idea of working in a challenging and fast paced role sounds perfect for you, we have that role available.

If that isn’t enough, following a busy week at work our team enjoy the benefit of finishing early on a Friday!

Key Responsibilities:

· Assemble goods on a production line

· Monitor the production process and carry out basic testing and quality checks

· Carry out cleaning and basic maintenance of work areas and machinery

· Report equipment faults to Area Supervisor

· Build up components and sub-assemblies into finished products

· Make quality control checks on products

· Ensure products are to the correct tolerances and meet customer and internal standards and specifications

· Stack goods appropriately

· Contribute to continuous improvement activities.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Salary: £20,800.00-£22,800.00 per year
