Our prestigious client are looking for a Assembly Operative to join their well-known establishment based in Abingdon.
This is a permanent position and a perfect opportunity to be part of a fast growing, close knit team.
As an Assembly Operative you will be responsible for, but not limited to:
- Assembly of products, as scheduled by the Supervisor, to the required standards and timescales.
- Following build notes
- Reporting faults to line manager
- Proactively suggest manufacturing and process changes to support continuous improvement.
- Ensure production requirement are met in a timely fashion and to expected quality.
- Identify any new processes and equipment required that could improve yields, quality and performance
- Ensure appropriate handing of sensitive electronic product during assembly process
To Be successful in this role you will need:
- Operate proactively and effectively in a team environment
- Have strong proactive day to day communication with the senior team
- Strong concentration and the ability to work on your own in a quiet environment
Hours
37.5 hours a week
The 37.5 hours are flexible between 7.30am and 9am start - with an option to have a short day on Friday.
Salary - £26,000 per annum
