Wiring and Assembly Technician
Maidenhead
Wiring and Assembly Technician urgently required for a leading manufacturing company based in Maidenhead, Berkshire engaged in building and manufacturing air vehicles. We require a skilled technician that can build and test complex electrical systems while being able to drill and assemble airframes with precision. The ideal candidate should have previous knowledge and experience with electronics, soldering, crimping, use of power tools and mechanical assembly with the ability to maintain high quality control and motivation. Other relevant hands-on experience in different fields with a strong focus on quality standards will be also considered.
Permanent role for an immediate start.
Shift Pattern: Monday to Friday.
Location: Maidenhead, Berkshire
Pay rate: £25-35k
Responsibilities:
- Electrical assembly, such as soldering (PCB or wires), crimping and general avionics wiring/assembly
- Make and install wiring looms, circuit boards and other electronic hardware
- Assemble vehicle frames, motors, and other mechanical hardware
- Use power tools with precision and in a safe manner
- Report on Quality Control issues and managing documentation
- Test and follow quality assurance procedures
- Able to multitask and work in a high pressure and task-oriented environment
Requirements:
- Working on various technical drawings for electro mechanical assembly or air vehicles.
- Basic Soldering is an additional plus point in this role.
- Report on Quality Control issues and managing documentation
- Assemble vehicle frames, motors and other hardware
- Make and install wiring looms
- Test and follow quality assurance procedures
- Able to multitask and work in a high pressure and task-oriented environment
