Furniture Assemblers
Monday to Friday £10.90 per hour Temp to perm contract
7.30 - 4.30 Monday to Thursday -Early finish at 1.30 on Friday's
Work in the heart of the South Somerset countryside within easy reach of the A30 and A358.
Our Client
A manufacturer of beautifully designed contract furniture. They work with some of the world’s greatest designers to create a unique collection of award-winning pieces.
All upholstery takes place on site from start to finish in our renewably powered production facility. A beautiful work location with superb staff facilities including a very modern fully equipped canteen, outside seating and views for days!
The Role
We are looking for special people with an eye for detail and some great assembly/Finishing skills. You will be hard working, methodical and enthusiastic.
Duties to include:
- Framing and assembly work
- Manufacture and assemble components as required by Production Plan
- Ensure workshop is kept clean and tidy at all times
- Various machining and assembly duties including power tooling, sanding etc.
- Working to deadlines
- Assisting with Unloading and loading of timber and furniture
- Snagging including fixing and touch-up of furniture
About You
A can do attitude is a must where hard work is rewarded. Attention to detail is a must and you will be very particular in your approach to the finished product you are working on.
Skills and Experience
- Understanding working drawings advantageous
- A sound working knowledge using hand and power tool
- Attention to detail and able to work under pressure
- Excellent communication skills
- Professional approach
