Are you an experienced Production/Factory/Assembly/Warehouse Operative, looking for a new role?
Baltic Recruitment are currently recruiting for Assembly Operators for a well-respected client based in Spennymoor area. Candidate must be competent in the use of hand tools, i.e., drills, screwdrivers etc. Roles are available at Pre-Assembly and Final Assembly Stage.
NO EXPERIENCE NEEDED
Through the role you will be required to undertake training and assisting in the training of other employees, as required.
SHIFTS: Day and Night shifts available Overtime and Double Overtime available
PAY RATE: £10.42 - £11
Assembly Operatives Main Duties & Responsibilities:
- Ensuring products are fitted and packed in an order that maximizes the line efficiency.
- Product preparation is essential to prevent items sitting on the line being unable to be processed, such tasks require careful drilling in the right positions and having items ready for shipment quickly and efficiently.
- Ensures products are processed in the right order ensuring the quality of the product meets the standards.
- That jobs are processed accurately against production orders, cutting lists and product breakdowns in line with production requirements, processing most urgent orders first.
- This role is at the forefront of our client’s quality management process of completing orders, you are responsible for ensuring products are fitted correctly and packed delighting our customers.
- Liaising with Bespoke area assembly and preassembly and assisting where appropriate
- Handling components multiple times ensuring there is plenty of opportunity for inspection and inspection of the assembled product
- Product preparation and packing should be completed in a safe manner following the SOPs with equipment maintained and in good condition.
- Waste disposal, having a clean and tidy work area free from clutter.
- Safe handling of materials and components ensuring the bench tops are clean and free from anything that could damage the product or item being built.
- Supporting the greater team effort and assisting with other tasks.
- To assist with preassembly, drilling, and prepared items
Assembly Operatives Applicants:
- Experience in working in a modern assembly/production environment.
- Proven work history.
- Ability to work to quality standards and specifications.
- Flexible and Self-motivated.
- Capable of working with minimal direct supervision.
- A willingness to undergo further training.
