We have an exciting opportunity for a Grants Adminstrator to join our team at Asda Foundation. Asda Foundation is a charity funded by an annual profit based donation from Asda Stores. This is an opportunity to work for a corporate grant making charity, with a variety of responsibilities. Working with Community Champions in Asda stores and grass root charities, this role supports them through the grant application process. As a team mamber you will find yourself in a busy role with the opportunity to make a real difference and help award over £3million pounds of community investment. Your Role:
- You will manage a portfolio of Asda stores for Asda Foundation.
- You will provide excellent support for all Community Champions in allocated stores, responding to all queries as the first point of contact for Asda Foundation.
- You will process grants in a timely manner, analysing applications with a consistent awarding approach.
- Ensure grants are awarded compliantly is an important aspect so your role and you will need to comply with procedures and ensure stores adhere to these through the application process.
- Your consistent guidance to grass roots organisations and Champions will result in excellent impactful grants being awarded
- You will provide expert knowledge and support in charity guidance and grant criteria.
- Financially, you will oversee all store budgets and finance limitations ensuring your portfolio of stores remains within budget and on track to achieve Community Champion targets.
- You will identify stories and case study opportunities from applications which bring to life how our grants support communities
What you'll need:
- Excellent experience of administration and customer service skills
- Clear and confident communication skills, in person, on the telephone and via email
- Intermediate understanding of Microsoft Word, Excel, Powerpoint and Outlook
- An ability to multi-task and prioritise in a fast-paced and dynamic work environment
- The ability to think creatively, linking data and information to make an informed decision
- Resiliency to change with ability to pivot approach quickly
- The ability to build relationships and engage with a variety of people with varying IT abilities
