The Opportunity
As an Asbestos Operative, you will carry out any asbestos related work as indicated by your supervisor.
Key duties and responsibilities of the role include but are not limited to:
> Carry out all asbestos related tasks, including removal and disposal of materials in accordance with regulations
> Record work activity carried out in relation to all asbestos tasks and any disposed materials
> Carry out encapsulation (including the building of tunnelling/tenting) and the necessary air testing and recording
> To be responsible for own compliance to the Company’s Health & Safety Procedures and Health & Safety legislation
The Person
Essential:
> Proven experience is asbestos removal
> Asbestos Operative certificate, asbestos medical certificate, face-fits
Desirable:
> Manual handling, first aid, PASMA training, confined spaces, working at heights
