What you’ll be doing…
As the Arts and Culture Editor, you will be responsible for leading and developing Wallpapers* Arts and Culture content. You will help to select, plan, manage and implement editorial content for both online and print. You will build and develop business relationships representing Wallpaper*, as a leader across relevant areas of the arts world and wider cultural space.
As well as this, you will commission, edit and write all arts and culture related copy. You will monitor cultural trends, upcoming art openings, film launches, music, theatre, ballet, set designs and other relevant industry developments.
Experience that will put you ahead of the curve…
- Be analytical, highly literate and numerate, with excellent interpersonal and organisational skills
- Be computer literate with excellent attention to detail and the ability to meet deadlines. Intermediate excel skills will be a distinct advantage
- Good, clear communication in written and verbal form
- Strong attention to detail and a tenacity to push activity through
- Highly organised, able to prioritise and work to tight time-tables
- Have a strong interest in arts and cultural trends.
