Graffiti Stars is an exciting street art events company that provides street art products and services including workshops and parties to clients across the UK. We are looking to expand and are now seeking a new artist & studio assistant to work in our small friendly studio and at event locations.
The Role
As an artist & studio assistant, you will be required to help assist wherever needed, this could be in the studio or at events so we are looking for someone that is flexible and willing to travel to our events across the country. You must also be happy to work with a small team and have the ability to engage with children as well as adults. The job will include but not limited to; helping at events and commissions or on location, preparing materials, providing clients with quotes, cleaning and restocking materials. speaking to clients over the phone, understanding our products and service as well as many other day to day tasks.
Full training is given however the right candidate must have an art background and have a good understanding of several genres of art.
An enhanced DBS ‘Disclosure and Barring Service’ check will be required.
Candidates with a Full UK Licences are preferred however this is dependent on the candidate.
Duties may also include but not limited to:
- Assisting at events
- Responsible for the smooth, day-to-day running and upkeep of the studio.
- Helping at events.
- Answering phone enquiries and relaying information about our services to potential clients
- Creating campaigns for our online store and helping to update our social media.
- Uploading products on to our ecommerce store
- Shipping out orders
- Arranging travel and accommodation for artists
- Preparing materials for events.
- Developing ideas for our merchandise
