Job Title: Artist Liaison / Stage Manager
Location: London-based bar/nightclub
Job Type: Full-time/Part-time (depending on event schedule)
Job Description:
Our bar/nightclub is currently seeking an experienced and highly organized Artist Liaison / Stage Manager to ensure smooth and successful performances by artists and manage the overall stage operations. The successful candidate will be responsible for coordinating with artists, managing stage logistics, and ensuring a seamless experience for both artists and guests.
Responsibilities:
Artist Liaison:
- Serve as the main point of contact for artists, communicating all necessary information and ensuring their needs are met
- Coordinate artist schedules, including arrival times, soundcheck, and performance timings
- Assist with artist hospitality, including providing backstage amenities and addressing any specific requests
- Facilitate effective communication between artists and relevant staff members, such as sound engineers and lighting technicians
- Act as a representative for the bar/nightclub, maintaining a professional and friendly relationship with artists
- Provide support and assistance to artists as needed during their time at the venue
- Facilitate smooth transitions between performances and manage stage changeovers
- Monitor the stage during performances, addressing any technical issues promptly
- Maintain a safe and organized stage area, including backstage and dressing rooms
- Collaborate with the bar/nightclub staff to ensure a coordinated and seamless event experience
Requirements:
- Proven working experience as an Artist Liaison, Stage Manager, or similar role in the entertainment industry
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to effectively interact with artists, crew, and staff members
- Ability to remain calm and composed in high-pressure situations
- Attention to detail and problem-solving abilities
- Flexibility to work irregular hours, including evenings and weekends, based on event schedules
- Knowledge of health and safety regulations in relation to stage operations
