Position Summary

Off the Grid’s Event Production Team drives the on-site execution of our public events and markets. Responsible for the set-up, strike, and event operations, this team owns all warehouse and asset-management activities. In addition to being experts in event and facility operations, the Production Crew is a visible representation of the brand. As the client-facing team at public events, Production Crew members provide extraordinary service and hospitality to event guests, clients and partners, and create a safe, clean, and welcoming experience for our Market guests. This position indirectly reports into the on-site Market Supervisor and reports directly into a Market Manager.

The ideal candidate is welcoming, responsible, attentive, resourceful, proactive, and has a love for great food and the outdoors.

This is a part-time non-exempt position based out of our Potrero Hill warehouse in San Francisco, but will be required to meet at his/her assigned Market location. A flexible schedule is required, including nights and weekends, to support Market events.

Key Responsibilities

This position will be responsible for, but not limited to the following:

Participating in set-up and break-down of public events:

• Set-up/break-down canopies, barricades, wind masters, road cones and chairs
• Transport chair stacks off/on the box trucks
• Waste management and disposal
• Assist in transporting Market generator
• Management of event assets in warehouse:
• Truck packing, asset loading and unloading for events
• Upholding fleet and facility organization and cleanliness

On-site Service:

Additional duties and responsibilities based on the needs of the business.

Job Requirements/Qualifications:

Years of Related Professional Experience: 0-1 years of related experience

Educational/Position Requirements: HS Diploma/GED or equivalent required

Computer/Software Applications: Efficient in Google Suite, Microsoft Word and Excel

Restaurant, catering, and/or event experience is a plus

Must have a reliable source of transportation to and from your scheduled Market location

While performing the job duties, the employee is regularly required to talk or hear. In addition this position frequently moves/lifts equipment up to 20 pounds throughout the day and occasionally up to 50 pounds.
