Cambridge British Artisan Cheesemonger
Help us grow, share and invigorate our love for British Artisan cheeses.
We are looking for a passionate 'lead cheesemonger' to join our team at our brand new Artisan cheese room in Central Cambridge. In this role, you will be responsible for heading up and representing our Cambridgeshire matured hard, soft and blue cheeses. All by providing world class customer service, and customer insight. Ordering, receiving and caring for our range of 40 cheeses, packing online orders, maintaining social media presence and maintaining the cheese room and its inventory.
There is opportunity in this role to develop into leading the online sales, marketing of the cheese shop and running private events.
The Cheeseroom at d'Arrys Cambridge is dedicated to all things fine cheese, working closely with Perry Wakeman (Afiineur of the Year 2022 and 2023) of Rind & Rennet.

About You:
- Passionate about all things cheese with a desire to learn about Britains different varieties and flavours. Experience with Artisan cheese and maturation will be an advantage
- You will already have excellent communication and great customer service skills
- You are happy to work in a fast-paced and quickly changing environment
- You are thorough with a good eye for detail
- You are a Team Player
- You are ready to learn and give it your all
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Permanent
Salary: £11.50-£14.50 per hour
