Position: Artworker
Location: Barnsley, United Kingdom
Salary: £22,000-£24,000pa

Artworker What we’re looking for in the successful candidate:
- Fully competent in Adobe CC specifically Photoshop, Illustrator & InDesign.
- Creative and enthusiastic, with ability to come up with new ideas and share with the team.
- Experience of designing for packaging.
- Excellent layout skills.
- High attention to detail.
- A good knowledge of the print industry and how to create print ready accurate files.
- Photography skills preferred but not essential for producing product photography for packaging.
- Working knowledge of Mac (essential).
- Must have the ability to manage a busy workload and hit deadlines.
- Communication skills are also key for everyday internal communications with team members and other departments.
- Organisational skills are vital for both file organisation and workload.
- Be aware of file types e.g. .AI .SVG .JPEG .PNG .EPS .
- A willingness to learn and ask questions.
- Be able to work as part of a team and independently.
- A basic knowledge of administrative software like Microsoft Office & Excel.
Day to day tasks:
- Creation of packaging designs and rolling out existing or new approved creatives onto new product ranges.
- Photography, retouching and image manipulation when required for packaging.
- Liaise with suppliers to request packaging cutters, product information and to ensure the packaging is accurate.
Also deal with any issues that may occur.
- Creation of concepts when required for product ranges.
- Produce accurate print ready files to send to suppliers.
- Liaise with our internal QC team to ensure all product warning’s, legals and labelling are correct.
- Working closely with the Buying team to ensure the creative’s for product packaging accurate and on trend.
- Day to day admin ensuring all reports and file tracking are kept up to date.
