The role
We are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic and inspirational Art Technician for this academically selective and dynamic school. The position is crucial in the successful running of a busy department.
The successful candidate will;
- Promote staff and student welfare, with an acute awareness of Safeguarding and Health and Safety.
- Be able to problem solve, use initiative and be able to work in an enthusiastic manner bringing new ideas and suggestion.
- Have excellent organisational skills and be able to prioritise and manage time effectively with good IT skills.
- Be committed to promoting high standards and have the desire for excellence in all areas.
- Have excellent communication and interpersonal skills with students and colleagues.
- Possess a sense of humour.
- Keep a stock check of basic art materials. Be able to communicate with art suppliers on a regular basis.
- Have sound carpentry skills.
- Offer an after school club as part of the enrichment programme.
- Be able to contribute to wider school life and be committed to a boarding and day school ethos.
