This position is for our Pleasanton flagship studio location.

Be a part of the Créatif team by becoming a Creatif Art Studio Coordinator/ Helper.
THE ROLE:
The Studio Helper will report to the Store Manager and will be responsible for ensuring that all activities at the studio are a great success, including monitoring and ensuring guest safety and satisfaction.
He/she must be outgoing, comfortable speaking to small and large groups and able to lead activities for different age groups.
The position is perfect for High School and College Students. This position offers Tips in addition to the regular pay.
ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE, AND ARE NOT LIMITED TO:
- Be familiar with various art forms and have excellent artistic, research, and organizational skills
- Promote a safe and positive environment during all sessions
- Able to work independently with minimal oversight
- Implement proper techniques for group and event management
- Must be able to multi-task; be productive, focused, and flexible in a creative & sometimes chaotic environment
- Provide clear instructions and guide the individual/group throughout the entire class/session.
- Instruct participants on the safe and proper use of supplies and equipment.
- Model positive and proactive attitude, demonstrate a pleasant and professional manner, maintain accurate attendance records and follow all reporting procedures
- Ensure studio space and all equipment are left clean and orderly
- Actively supervise and ensure participant safety at all times
- Interact professionally and appropriately with participants, guardians and team members.
- Comply with all studio policies and procedures.
- Promote and cultivate positive personal interaction with patrons, party coordinators and management
- Perform other duties as assigned.Maintaining a fun, positive, interactive and enthusiastic environment at the store
- Greeting guests in a warm and friendly manner and setting the stage for a positive creative experience
- Reserving and verifying all selected event options
- Communicating with the party host on all event requirements
- Leading art activities along with introducing and explaining all activities to the guests.
- Maintaining the flow of events and helping execute all tasks within the required timeframe
- Assisting customers in making session selections and providing materials/tools needed for the session.
- Ensure party/session areas are clean prior to event, and provide place settings as needed
- Ensuring and enforcing that the participants are following adequate safety measures and maintaining a clean and safe environment at all times Handling customer complaints in a professional and timely manner and escalating to management as necessary
- Addressing customer queries professionally Setting up and cleaning up all areas in the studio.
- Handling phone calls, reservations, sales, cash register and store open/close procedures.
SKILLS:
Preferred
Retail industry experience Preferred - Experience in art/creative environment Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment Prior customer service experience. Preferred - Experience working with kids
Experience in acrylic painting
Previous experience as an art instructor, teacher ….
High School (AP) / College level drawing
REQUIREMENTS: ·
Must be able to lift 30-40 lbs regularly throughout shifts
Ability to stand, bend, reach and scoop throughout assigned shift
