As a Senior Art Project Manager, you will partner with art discipline leads to define and schedule the work for the team, ensuring the release of content aligns with deliverable dates and art quality expectations. You will also facilitate constant communication with the art production team and other cross-departmental teams, providing transparency on asset status, risks, and opportunities.
To give you an idea of how this flexible role would look and feel, here are some of the things you could expect to do:
- Ensure stakeholders are informed of any changes that may impact their teams
- Identify problems and propose solutions for your team before they become roadblocks
- Handle multiple large production needs within your department or across small strike teams
- Schedule team meetings, run art reviews, and in-game content reviews, provide actionable notes and follow up to attendees
To succeed in this flexible role, you will need previous experience in games production roles, managing art teams and delivering high-quality art. You will also require the following:
- A deep understanding of dependency-driven pipelines, scheduling, asset tracking, and project management
- Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail
- Experience in problem-solving and viewing challenges as opportunities for success
- Self-motivated with a creative and methodical approach to solving
- Excellent communication skills to interact with stakeholders at different levels
