We have an opportunity for an Instructor to work two days a week (Mondays and Tuesdays) for 40 weeks a year which is term time, Enrolment Week and a few extra hours by agreement.

Information About The Post
The Art department has about 500 students following A level courses including Fine Art, Textiles, Photography and Sculpture using the AQA specifications. Many students progress to foundation and art degrees. There are twelve staff, including Teachers, Instructors and Technicians who work collaboratively, achieving excellent results.
We have an opportunity for an Instructor to work two days a week (Mondays and Tuesdays) for 40 weeks a year which is term time, Enrolment Week and a few extra hours by agreement. Under the direction of teaching staff, you will work with students to facilitate teaching and learning. Duties include preparation of work, demonstrating to groups and classes, contributing to the marketing of the department and looking after equipment. You will be educated to A level or equivalent in Art or a related subject, be proficient in IT and camera skills and be enthusiastic about sharing your knowledge with our students.
