We have an exciting opportunity to join our successful, vibrant community as a
Art & Design and Food Technology Technician
Start date – March 2023 or ASAP
18 hours per week over 4 / 5 days
39 working weeks per year (term time plus 5 inset days)
Bucks Pay Range 2 (£8,335 - £9,367)
We are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic and committed Food, Art & Design Technology Technician to join our brand new school, The Kingsbrook School. As a Technician you will work under the guidance of the various Heads of Departments and subject teacher’s to support the teaching and learning of all children and young people.
As a Technician for food, art and design technology, you will be responsible for supporting the smooth running of the departments and ensuring that students have access to the materials and equipment they need to excel in their studies.
As a member of our team, you will be passionate about contributing your skills to ensure all our children and young people receive the best possible education. You will be able to work with students across the school in lessons and support the development of both curriculum areas, which are well resourced and popular with our students. You will join a well led thriving and successful team in a popular faculty area within the school that really values Arts and Technology.
These subjects are very popular and successful, and this is an exciting opportunity for the right colleague to join us.
As part of the role full training will be provided.
Please note The Kingsbrook School is a new school which opened in September 2022 and will grow year on year. Candidates must have a clear idea of how to work alongside staff and demonstrate a collegiate working relationship with others both in school and with outside agencies.
