Post: Art and Design Technology Technician
Salary: £20,475 - £22,475 full time equivalent (depending on experience) pro rata for Term Time Only
Hours: Flexible Hours, Term Time Only. Hours to be discussed & agreed as part of recruitment process.
Start Date: 01 September 2023
We are looking for someone to join our diverse art and design technology team and department. We require a dedicated and creative person to aid and support teaching and learning through both areas. We are looking for someone who can be adaptable and who is willing to train and develop new skills.
Job requirements
- Resourcing lessons
- Supporting one to one and in small groups in lessons
- Stock taking and re-stocking supplies
- General cleaning of the department
- Health and Safety
- Knowledge of Photoshop
- Support with art work for school website, newsletter and displays
- Dark room and developing experience
Develop or Learn
- Knowledge of Adobe Illustrator (Creative Cloud Programs)
- Use of Woodwork machinery and general maintenance
- First Aid
- Use of table saw/circular saw
- Knowledge of CAD/CAM (2D Design)
