An outstanding secondary school in North London is looking for a creative and inspiring Art and DT Teacher to join their team on a part time, permanent basis, either 3-4 days a week. The role will be paid at MPS/ UPS.

This large, successful secondary school and sixth form is located in the borough of Barnet. The school is heavily oversubscribed and has an excellent reputation within the community. Students at this school make excellent progress and the school is consistently in the top 10% of schools nationally for progress.

The school is looking for an Art and DT Teacher to join their successful Art and Design departments on a part time basis.

The Design & Technology department is well resourced with rooms set up with specialist equipment. Students work in a purposeful and dynamic atmosphere where problem solving skills are developed and encouraged across all Key Stages 3-5.

Art is a lively and popular department within the school. Students are encouraged to develop highly individual and fully developed art work. Students are given the opportunity to work with a wide range of materials, in two and three dimensions and in different scales.

The Art department offer both GCSE Art and Photography as well as A-Level Art and Design. In DT, Design & Technology and Food Preparation and Nutrition are offered at GCSE and Product Design at A Level.
