About the role:

You will be responsible for Planning and teaching lessons to level 1 Art students and to ensure a safe, inclusive, and enjoyable environment for all learners while taking into consideration the individual and sometime complex needs of a level 1 learner who may or may not have an EHC plan. Working in harmony with the dedicated LSA support team to ensure all EHCP learners have an inclusive experience.


About you:

With appropriate experience and qualifications reflecting a strong background in the Art & design industry, you will have a teaching qualification or the commitment to undertake one during the first term of contract. You will have a history of teaching within a vocational (or similar) context to a high standard, with personal/group tutoring experience and of teaching a variety of UAL units in Art & Design. You must have the ability to communicate with students and to motivate and support them in their studies.
