Area Sales Manager
The Company Recruiting for an Area Sales Manager - Personal Protective Equipment:
This dynamic and rapidly expanding global company is a market leading manufacturer of portable LED lighting for industrial and utilities markets, key products including torches, flashlights, floodlights and head torches. Headquartered in Germany, they own their manufacturing facility and invest heavily in product development enabling it to deliver its customers world class, innovative, reliable products coupled with great product availability.
Founded in 1993, this agile, dynamic company is enjoying significant growth, with revenue increasing by double digits this year in the UK alone. To continue expanding they are now looking for a motivated and growth-oriented sales person who wants to be part of their fast-paced business journey.
The Purpose of the Role of Area Sales Manager - Personal Protective Equipment:
The key focus of this role is to take ownership of the utilities market sector, targeting major organisations within water and energy supply companies such as Severn Trent, Western Power and Centrica, developing specifications for the supply of their portable lighting equipment. In addition you will be tasked with developing sales across a variety of industrial, wholesale and SME retail accounts throughout the Midlands region. Extensive travel is required so location in the area is essential.
For the position of Area Sales Manager - Personal Protective Equipment, we are looking for individuals who meet the following criteria:
- You're a natural sales person who enjoys developing new business prospects
- Must have sold to or for Industrial / Commercial products suppliers e.g. PPE, Tools, Etc.
- Ideally experience of selling to the utilities market in some capacity
- Enjoys working as part of a team
- Excellent initiative, entrepreneurial and commercial common sense is absolutely essential
- Must be well presented, dynamic, driven, enthusiastic, articulate and personable
- Driving licence

- £35,000 - £42,000 - base salary
- 15% bonus
