Area Manager
Up to £38,000 + Commission Scheme + Company Car
Permanent Position
Monday- Friday - 40 Hours
Covering SE Wales
Our client, an award-winning Facilities Management company who are currently on a huge growth trajectory are looking for an Area Manager to join them on a permanent basis.
This will be a key role within the Operations Team where you will be working closely with the Divisional Manager to manage all aspects of customer contracts within the geographical area of South East Wales.
As an Area Manager you will be responsible for:
- Ensure that high quality team members are recruited, retained across your area
- Provide quality feedback and coaching to develop to direct reports
- Working collaboratively with your divisional manager to support the overall talent pipeline of the business
- Be the first line in any Employee relations escalations, conducting investigations and Disciplinaries when required, managing performance and absence levels.
- Maximise sales and profit opportunities
- Oversee the successful onboarding of new clients, ensuring they are resourced, compliant and have excellent standards across the site
- Manage site specific P&L against targets including budget management
- Authorise and control local expenditure
What you will require to be successful:
- Previous management or supervisory experience
- Recent experience of leading remote teams in a managerial role
- Flexible approach and can-do attitude, as each day offers exciting new challenges
- Knowledge of ER/Ability to conduct all elements of disciplinary cycle
- Knowledge of health and safety procedures including fire safety management
- Able to build strong relationships with all stakeholders, including at a senior level
- UK Driving License
