Job Description

As an Area Manager, you will be the driving force behind the day-to-day operations, leading a talented team of Catering Managers and Cleaning Supervisors. Your expertise and guidance will ensure exceptional service quality, unwavering consistency, and strict adherence to compliance standards across all teams under your leadership.

Your role will extend beyond operational excellence. You will collaborate closely with our Operations Manager, playing a crucial part in delivering robust profit and loss accounts. Key Responsibilities

  • Health and Safety compliance. Actively and positively implement and promote Health and Safety initiatives involving your team at all stages
  • Ensure compliance to all food development process and procedures
  • Ensure your area team are briefed and compliant with the Food Policies (i.e. cultural, religious, ethnic, allergies, special diets)
  • Build and maintain strong relationships and develop effective two-way communication with Clients, and other stakeholders providing regular feedback to your Line Manager
  • Adopt and maintain a people-focussed management approach and to ensure leadership principles and values are always practiced
  • Ensure you manage people considerately, considering the Company’s equal opportunities/diversity policies
  • Ensure understanding and compliance with Company P&C policy and procedures where applicable

  • A minimum 1 years’ experience as an Area Manager in school catering or equivalent, or the potential to develop with additional training and development
