Hours: 40 hours over 5 days
Salary: £41,800 per annum + car allowance £4,250
Location: Flexible but must be able to cover sites across the Midlands, North and South of England
Atlas Hotels is hiring an Area Housekeeping Manager.

So what does an Area Housekeeping Manager do?
Overall Responsibilities:
- Responsible for overseeing the Housekeeping operations of an assigned number of ATLAS sites within an area.
- Provide leadership and effective management of all direct reports
- To lead, coach and support your teams to achieve the minimum quality requirements whilst engaging your teams to strive for excellence
- Plan and conduct site visits to ensure the execution of quality service and cleanliness standards. Produce reports, share the outcome with all relevant stake holders and follow-ups on preventive plans.
- Provide regular and meaningful reports as required to the Line Manager, with a full explanation of KPI results/targets
- Manage your teams to ensure all Health and Safety requirements are met, to the company standard, and to ensure the safety of all staff and guests.
- Work in partnership with HR team to notify any ER issues and support with relevant actions to a successful conclusion
- To adhere to all ATLAS Hotels Policies and Procedures

- Provide effective communication from the centre to hotels and also between hotels of responsibility, ensuring Housekeeper Managers are aware of relevant company information and priorities
- Use fair and motivational reward and recognition practises, accountable to ensure that motivational incentives are used effectively across sites
- Leverages ‘centres of excellence’, acting as a conduit to leverage support from these teams as and when required
- Management of flexible staffing budget across hotels
- Challenge behaviour that is not in line with the Atlas values
Guest:
- Ensure all guests receive a great experience
- Ensure the hotels pass quality evaluations
- Ensure relevant daily, weekly and monthly checks are being undertaken
- Maintain awareness of guest feedback and develop plans for success in conjunction with COM, Hotel Operations Manager, Head Housekeeper
- Adherence to HI & HIEX Brand Standards
Investor:
- Understand and manage hotel P&L’s, including cost control in line with personal objectives
- Nurture effective relationships with the COMs, able to understand, articulate and contribute as necessary to the Rooms Cost Management strategy for their hotels of responsibility in line with their budget.
- Review Hotels in line with agreed metrics and accountable for improvements where required
- Understand in detail the P&L/costs for sites responsibility, engaging with HOMs to identify opportunity/risk areas and make plans for success
- Nurture a culture of best practise and efficiency across hotels, networking with other Housekeeping colleagues and contractors to drive efficiency and high performance
- Ensure effective stock control & management
Compliance:
- Zero tolerance approach to non-compliance, accountable for ensuring all compliance standards are adhered to across sites of responsibility.
- Understand and adheres to Brand Standards as prescribed
Other:
- Undertakes project work as required
- Accountable to ensure sites are at a high quality standard
