West Glamorgan Archive Service is looking to recruit an enthusiastic member of staff to assist in the smooth running of its public service, involving the several tasks of staffing the main Archives reception desk; helping to operate the Family History Centre and the Neath service point; retrieving documents from the archive strongroom for researchers; and undertaking general admin and office duties. The post is full time and based onsite, with only limited opportunities to work from home on occasion.
You will be literate and numerate and be self-motivated, willing to play a part in a small team of professional and paraprofessional staff. You will be based in Swansea Civic Centre but will also be required to work on occasion in our Neath service point.
