Opportunity to join the start-up modular buildings division of an established property developer that has achieved quick success with an already compelling portfolio of modular builds.

The position will be extremely varied involving:

Integrated approach to design – you will develop the overall scheme as well as each individual aspect of the building to a high level of detail within a multi-disciplinary environment.

Range of projects – high quality and challenging projects in different sectors with scope for design. You will be leading the development of the company’s tallest building with stringent regulations from scratch.

Involvement in all phases of the development – from super early to super late stages as the company is an end-to-end developer carrying out land purchase, design, manufacturing, construction, and owning & operating their sites.

Requirements:

Strong understanding of architectural principles and how a building goes together

A portfolio of high-quality technical work through the construction stages

Delivery experience of medium-large schemes preferred

While Revit is the main design tool, any software background is fine as full training will be provided and design is only one aspect of the role.

The position is open to both technologist and senior technologist level as the key aspects are the soft skills which include:

– Strategic thinker with ability to challenge a brief

– Skilled in driving external consultants and holding them to a direction

– Team leadership skills
