A look into the role
Henderson Group Property provide a specialised service that covers acquisition, design, development and project management of our property portfolio. We are market leaders in retail store development; constantly upgrading, developing new sites, and constructing within our store estate. Working as Architectural/CAD Technician, you will join an award-winning creative team of eight specialists, helping to prepare retail layouts, store designs and preparation of feasibility studies as we continue to expand and invest in our multi – million-pound programme of works’.
This position may be suited to a candidate coming from an agency background who wants to establish and develop their career within one of Northern Irelands leading property developers.
As Architectural/CAD Technician, you will:
- Prepare retail layouts and store designs for SPAR, EUROSPAR and ViVO shops
- Produce information planning/building control applications and tender/working drawings/information for minor works and refurbishment projects
- Carry out detailed surveys of existing and proposed businesses and sites
Skills for Success
Joining us as Architectural/CAD Technician the minimum criteria you’ll need is:
- Demonstrable technical skills including AutoCAD gained within a professional environment
- Proficiency in MS Office Packages
- Driving license
The human skills you’ll need include:
- Excellent communication skills that will allow you to relate to stakeholders and customers
- Strong presentation skills
- Excellent organisational abilities and capacity to manage workload effectively
It is Desirable if you had:
- A Qualification in a relevant architectural discipline
- Experience using 3D design software
- Proven ability to execute multiple projects at once
- Knowledge in retail and forecourt design

A number of positions are available working 36.5 hours per week. Working hours will be 8:45am - 4:45pm Monday to Thursday and 8:45am - 3:45pm Friday. Hybrid working arrangement available.
