About the role:
Are you are a high calibre Architecture Student looking to gain an understanding of project management alongside architecture? Are you a Part 2 student looking to undertake your Part 3? If you have answered 'yes', then this is a fantastic opportunity for you to learn new skills whilst helping to improve the University campus. This role will provide excellent experience to the post holder.
With responsibility for the delivery of a range of refurbishment and renovation projects, specialist teaching and research equipment installations, and maintaining building environments, you will: -
- Support more senior colleagues in delivering projects as required, designing and project managing works.
- Monitor project cash flow.
- Ensure projects are delivered in a timely manner and to budget.
- Provide design and drawing support to other team members as required.
- Ensure the project manual is adopted and that all project management documentation is completed and projects handed over as necessary.
- Have strong design, communication and interpersonal skills and be able to demonstrate ownership of your personal workload.
- Be happy to support the momentum within the team and contribute to our strong team-focused ethos.
- Be eager to learn.
This is a fixed term role through to September 2024.

You will also receive an additional discretionary payment of 2% per annum, which is in recognition of staff contribution to the University's achievements and which will be added to your base salary each month until 31st July 2023.
