Job description

Job Title: Part-time Architect

We are a leading architectural and structural engineering firm in the UK, seeking a highly skilled and experienced Architect to join our team on a part-time basis. The ideal candidate will have a passion for design and a strong understanding of architectural principles, as well as the ability to work independently and collaboratively to produce high-quality work.

Responsibilities:

Collaborate with the project team to develop design solutions that meet the client's needs and budget while adhering to building regulations and codes

Prepare detailed drawings and specifications using industry standard software such as AutoCAD, Revit, and SketchUp

Conduct site visits and assessments to gather information and ensure that the designs are feasible and practical

Communicate with clients, contractors, and other stakeholders to ensure project requirements are understood and met

Manage multiple projects simultaneously and maintain accurate records and documentation

Attend meetings and presentations with clients as needed

Requirements:

Accredited degree in Architecture from a recognized institution

Minimum of 5 years of experience in architectural design and project management

Proficient in AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp, and other relevant design software

Strong understanding of building regulations and codes in the UK

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Ability to work independently and collaboratively with team members

Creative problem solver with a keen eye for detail

Strong organizational and time management skills

This is a part-time position with a competitive hourly rate of £30.
