Job description
Grey Seal Academy is a successful, quality driven training provider is seeking a professional, experienced Trainer or Security Manager to deliver Security and Security Team Leader apprenticeships to a range of employed learners on Apprenticeship Standards. You will be delivering at client company sites to individuals and groups as well as making use of a range of technology such as Teams, webinars and an online portfolio. You will also have input into training design and improvements which will be individualised to learners and / or organisations. You will need to have gained solid Security Management experience preferably with qualifications for training and assessment, however qualifications can be achieved within the role where necessary.
The Apprentices you will be teaching, coaching and assessing will learn about customer service and health and safety within their role as well as developing knowledge and skills in security / security supervision. They will be working in a variety of workplaces including private and public sector
Full time or part time would be considered
Role
· Delivering training in Security and possibly other subjects. The additional subjects will only be added according to your personal work experience and knowledge
· This Apprenticeship includes practical skills and knowledge.
· Delivering training using a range of methods both individually and in small groups
· Delivering training face to face and using technology such as Teams, webinar etc.
· Assisting with ongoing development and continuous improvement of training materials and course content
· Engaging with employers in terms of feedback, customer service, reviews etc.
· Working from home and field based – possible occasional overnight stays (expensed)
Requirements
· Security Management experience
· Training / Supervisory experience
· Preferably with training and / or assessment qualifications e.g., A1, TAQA, E&T, PTTLS, Cert Ed, DTTLS
· Preferably with quality assurance qualifications e.g., IQA
· Security qualifications are preferable
· Driving licence and vehicle

Salary: £25,000.00-£35,000.00 per year
