HEINEKEN Advanced Process Operator 2 Year Apprenticeships - TADCASTER

Salary and package: £17,140 first-year salary & award-winning double matched pension plus a fantastic benefits package including all accommodation costs paid for and a food allowance when you're studying.
All of our apprenticeships start on the 1st September 2023. Applicants must be 18 years old or older on or before the start date.
About the role:
You’ll work towards two apprenticeships (one after the other) Your first apprenticeship is a Level 3 Technical Operator apprenticeship will be delivered through on-site development with 3 study weeks at college each year. Your second apprenticeship is a Level 2 Engineering Operative where you will gain the knowledge and skills to be able to perform basic maintenance tasks on equipment.
Your apprenticeship will involve both block release study (3 x 1 week/year) at the University of Lincoln and onsite training over 30 months. This will provide you with technical and practical knowledge and skills of process safety, quality operation, and principles of equipment maintenance as well as experience using continuous improvement tools. Your role will involve ensuring colleague safety, operating process equipment, maintaining product quality, equipment maintenance, data analysis, and continuous improvement.
Our aim is that you’ll learn from and work within our Production and Support teams (either Packaging or Cider Production) throughout your apprenticeship. You’ll spend your time as part of the operations team, learning and putting your technical knowledge into practice by developing towards becoming a Technical Operator (this will include most of your time being on shift and learning from our experienced colleagues)
If you show raw talent and a passion for this type of job then you’ll have the opportunity to take up a role as a Technical Operator within our Production team. Our expectations are that this is the start of an exciting and rewarding journey, where moving into Shift Management and beyond could be within your reach. Due to the technical elements involved in the learning, we ask that all applicants must have 5 GSCE’s all at Level 4 or equivalent – including Maths and English.
