Job introduction
Longhill High School are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic and hardworking Teaching Assistant apprentice to join the Learning Support team at Longhill High School. In the role 30 hours of your time will be working directly with the students at Longhill high School. This will allow you to learn and practice the skills you will gained from the remaining 6/7 hours of training you will receive from your apprenticeship provider.
On completion of the course, apprentices are awarded a level 3 Supported Teaching and Learning Certification.
The role would suit a school leaver or more experienced Teaching Assistant/Learning Support Assistant. The apprenticeship programme will offer you the chance to develop your skills and get ahead in your career. This role is ideal for those who genuinely have a passion for helping children, particularly with learning difficulties. Candidates who are appointed will receive full support and training from colleagues and teachers.

Your starting salary will be pro rata if the above position is part-time or term-time only.
