Role: Recruitment Consultant
To oversee a portfolio of potential apprentice candidates matching them to opportunities with employers for traineeships, apprenticeships and long-term employment by developing new business from existing clients and actively seeing new apprenticeship placement opportunities.
Working Hours: Monday- Friday, 9am-5:30pm

Your duties will include:
- Familiarizing yourself with all apprenticeship services offered by our company
- Procuring new clients through direct contact, word-of-mouth with key businesses and directors with the view of opening apprenticeship opportunities.
- Negotiating with clients to secure the most attractive apprenticeship vacancies and staff who may require upskilling
- Serve as the lead point of contact for all customer account management matters
- Provide outstanding pastoral care, advice and guidance to support students/ learners and applicants during the period of their initial journey though apprenticeships.
- Screening candidates and drawing up shortlists of candidates for clients to interview
- Assist ways to increase the bank of apprentice candidates
- Maintain CRM and Apprenticeship recruitment databases as required.
- Build and maintain strong, long-lasting client relationships
- Negotiate contracts and close apprenticeship agreements
- Develop trusted advisor relationships with key accounts/employers
- Ensure the timely and successful delivery of placed apprentices (closed deals) according to customer needs and objective
- Develop new business with existing clients and/or identify areas of improvement to meet target quotas
- Collaborate with resourcing, HR and Compliance team to identify and grow opportunities within territory
- Assist with challenging client requests or issue escalations as needed
- Work closely with our Resourcing Team, Apprenticeship Recruitment Coordinator, HR, Compliance and Business Development Advisors to ensure that the recruitment process is responsive and vacancies are advertised and filled within the agreed timescales
- Maintain a current and ongoing knowledge of apprenticeship programmes and funding to provide accurate information to customers.
- Attending networking activities to research and connect with prospective clients.
- Maintaining meaningful relationships with existing clients to ensure that they are retained.
- Crafting business proposals and mailers to draw in more interest from clients.
- Negotiating with clients to secure the most attractive apprenticeship vacancies and staff who may require upskilling.

Desired
- Experience with CRM software (desirable)
- Experience as an Account Manager, Key Account Manager, Sales Account Manager, Junior Account Manager, Recruitment Consultant, Business Development Executive or relevant role
Essential Qualifications
- GCSE Maths Grade 4/C
- GCSE English Grade 4/ C
Basic Salary + Commission & Bonus for hitting targets and any deals above agreed minimum threshold
